For Australian and New Zealand residents (student or non-student)

Both students and non students are eligible for the Canadian Working Holiday Permit. You need to apply and arrive in Canada prior to your 31st birthday. This visa is now available for people who have previously held one.

Note: All applicants at time of applying for the visa must also provide a Police Report/Check and possibly a traffic record to the Canadian Consulate.

Do I need a visa?

Yes- Regardless of which passport you hold, if you plan on working in Canada you WILL need a visa. You need to apply for this visa here in Australia and allow some 10 weeks for it to be processed.  Once you have applied online to this program and paid your program fee CCUSA will provide you with guidance and simple instructions to apply for your Canadian www.whpcanada.org.au

CCUSA Application Process

When you decide to go and work in Canada you want to make it as simple and easy as possible. So do we!

The simple steps:

  1. Complete an online application 
  2. Read and sign the Program Agreement
  3. Pay your program fee online. 
  4. Send your signed Program Agreement and one smiling headshot profile photo in to CCUSA.  
  5. CCUSA will confirm that we have received your information and we will contact you to arrange an interview date.  Program interviews will either be held over the phone or in person depending on your location.  NOTE: If you are not successful with your application at this point, you will receive a full refund of fees paid.
