Going to camp was the craziest, scariest, most amazing, most intimidating and best thing I have ever done. When I touched down in America, I didn't know a single person. THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! No words can describe the emotions that you experience at camp. You'll laugh, you'll cry and then you'll laugh again. Awesome, life changing, it's hard to describe everything about it that changes you and all the experiences you have, but everyone has the same feeling, it’s just such a positive place and you learn so much about life and yourself. It was an amazing experience. The kids are so wonderful and inspiring. Working in a camp for blind and visually impaired kids was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I don't think anything could replace it. The breaks were brilliant; I had so much fun getting to know both the international and the American staff. Overall, it was a brilliant experience. The kids were great, the core staff unbelievably friendly and devoted to camp and the camp environment was absolutely wonderful. Words can't describe. I had the best summer possible. Have just had the best summer of my life! I was overwhelmed with how passionate everyone was at the camp and it was so inspiring to be apart of their family as they called it. I tried so many things at this camp that I have never done in my life and it was all because of the support. I was able to work to my full potential. I tried things that I felt scared and shy about but got such a positive reaction each time that I kept wanting to do these things more and more, like performing in front of everyone, cheering as loud as I could at meals and just enjoying the atmosphere!
