Do I need a visa?
Yes - Regardless of which passport you hold if you plan on working in Canada you WILL need a visa/work permit. The work permit/visa is very easy to receive. NYQUEST will help you organize the permit and in almost all cases, the permit/visa will be arranged via email. The visa you will apply for will either be a Temporary Work Permit (TWP) or a Working Holiday Permit (WHP). This will be dependent upon your age, occupation, nationality, whether you are placed as a Counselor or Support Staff member and whether you wish to go on to do further work in Canada after your camp placement has finished. NYQUEST and CCUSA will arrange the appropriate type of work permit individually tailored to suit your needs and circumstances, and you will be advised as to which type you should apply for once you have been accepted onto the program. Some nationalities will be required to complete an Embassy Medical check – please contact your local office for more details.
